Gabriel David Alindogan Medina or Gabs is a Fine Arts graduate from the University of the Philippines, Diliman, Quezon City. He majored in Advertising.
After graduation in 1993, he was employed as Visualizer at Campaigns and Grey, Inc. where he did some advertising materials for big companies like Proctor and Gamble, Universal Robina Corporation, Smart Communications, Gatorade, Shakey’s, Far East Bank, Del Monte and many more. In the year 2000, he was taken as In-house Creative Director for Godiva, Inc. to take charge of
advertising materials for its line of skin care products. He is now based in
Cagayan de Oro working as one of the Web Designers of StickyMedia Solutions, Inc. He also assists in all the advertising needs of the company and its clients.
Through all the years that he was involved in the advertising industry, he
did not forget his love for painting. He was able to launch a one-man-painting exhibit last 2005 in Malate, Manila. Seeing the richness of the culture in Mindanao, he focused his theme on its Indigeneous Peoples and on Islamic
Arts. Seven of his paintings were bought by an Anthropologist from Northern Illinois University in DeKalb, USA for their Islamic Arts Museum.
